Safety recommendations made for Paekakariki level crossing

A Transport Accident Investigation Commission report recommends improvements to a Wellington level crossing, following a collision with an empty bus last year.

The report recommends that changes are made to the level crossing so that there is increased room for vehicles to wait over the crossing without the rears of the vehicles remaining on the tracks.
